• The rooftop jacuzzi is currently being set up. In the meantime, guests are welcome to use the infinity pool at the villa opposite, also managed by Anamoi.

Why stay in Ganh Dau

Ganh Dau is a working fishing village on the north-western tip of Phu Quoc, far from the busy resort strips in the south. Mornings start with boats coming back to shore, the beach stays quiet even in high season, and because it faces west it is one of the best places on the island to watch the sun go down over the sea.

• Close to the big days out in the north: Starfish Beach at Rach Vem, Vinpearl Safari, VinWonders and Grand World.
• Good for families and groups who want space, quiet nights and a real sense of island life.
• Good to know: there is less nightlife and fewer big hotels than in Duong Dong or the south. If the Hon Thom cable car and island-hopping are your priority, the south is closer.
